Ole Smoky is the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee, serving as the leading distiller of premium moonshine in the world with innovative products and craft authenticity. Founded in 2010, Ole Smoky's roots are traced to the Smoky Mountains' earliest settlers, families who produced moonshine with enduring pride and Appalachian spirit.
Today, Ole Smoky’s over 25 creative moonshine flavors and 17 inventive whiskey flavors can be found in all 50 states, 20 countries around the world. The company currently has four distillery locations in Tennessee that have been recognized as the most visited in the world welcoming over 5 million guests annually for tours, tastings and live music.

Tanteo Spirits 
In 2023, Ole Smoky made its first brand acquisition with the addition of Tanteo Spirits. As the original spicy tequila, Tanteo is known for bold flavor and fresh ingredients, with a portfolio that includes three real pepper-infused expressions — Jalapeño, Habanero, and Chipotle — alongside a higher-proof Blanco that delivers a pure, unaltered taste of agave. Each expression is crafted to elevate cocktails with clean, authentic flavor. Tanteo Spirits also produces Espero, a high-quality 100% agave tequila made for the premium well.
